Camp Overview

Fun & Immersive Fencing Experience

Our Summer Fencing Camp is designed to provide a comprehensive fencing experience for children ages 7-10. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has previous fencing experience, our camp offers appropriate instruction and activities for all skill levels.

Campers will learn fencing fundamentals, develop their skills through drills and games, and participate in friendly competitions. Our experienced coaches create a positive and encouraging environment where young fencers can thrive.

Beyond fencing, campers will enjoy team-building activities, fencing-related games, and make new friends who share their interest in this unique Olympic sport.

The Camp Experience

Our carefully designed program ensures young fencers have fun while learning valuable skills.

Daily Schedule

1. Warm-up and Stretches

Warm-ups include ice-breakers and games to get campers engaged and build teamwork. We will also include a variety of different activities to develop physical skills, such as strength, speed, coordination, agility, and flexibility.

2. Footwork and Partner Drills

Following the warm-ups and stretches kids will get involved in footwork, where they will start to master the specific movements required for fencing. During partner drills, campers will work with full fencing gear as they learn how to fence with each other and score points along with the rules and strategy of fencing.

3. Lunch Break!

With plenty of time to rest, refuel, and socialize.

4. Bouts

After a brief 're-warm-up' with different games, campers will be paired off and fence with each other in numerous 'bouts'.

5. Wrap Up & Cool Down

We typically wind down with a series of games and 'cool down' exercises. Then, pick up!
